Aaron Lewis is the lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist, and founding member of the rock group Staind, with whom he has released seven studio albums.  He has since ventured into country music with his debut solo album, Town Line.  While other post-grunge bands were successful in mining the dark caverns once explored by Soundgarden and Alice In Chains, Lewis allowed his sensitivity to pour freely from his words and often pensive vocals, enabling Staind to strike a heavy balance between heavy metal bombast and thoughtful, melodic rock.

Lewis's first country album features 7 tracks including three versions of the first single "Country Boy" featuring George Jones, Charlie Daniels, and Chris Young.  Lewis said in a July 2011 interview that he was introduced to country music as a child by his grandfather. but his interest was recently rekindled when he toured with Kid Rock.  He had two CMT Music Awards nominations in 2011; one for USA Weekend Breakthrough Video of the Year and one for Collaborative Video of the Year.
