     Country superstar Billy Currington signed to Mercury Nashville Records in 2003 and has released five studio albums for the label.  His sixth album is titled, Summer Forever and of these six albums they have produced fifteen singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs and country Airplay charts including eight No. 1 hits:  Must Be Doin’ Something Right, That’s How Country Boys Roll, Pretty Good at Drinkin’ Beer, Somethin’ Right, Good Directions, People Are Crazy, Let Me Down Easy, and Hey Girl.   His own non-album single Tangled Up, and his duet with Shania Twain, Party for Two, bring his total to seventeen Top 40 hits.  Currington won the 2006 CMT Music Award for Hottest Video of the Year – Must Be Doin’ Something Right and Billy was nominated for the 2006 Grammy Award for Male Country Vocal Performance – People Are Crazy, and that same song went onto be nominated again in 2010 by the Academy of Country Music for the Single Record of the Year and for Song of the Year as well.  Currington’s soft country sound takes you back to when country wasn’t so pop orientated his sweet southern twang is a refreshing break for hard core country fans who remember artists whose country vocal talent was deep, sweet and southern like Randy Travis, Charlie Daniels, Alabama and the great Willie Nelson.  Billy Currington’s sound is a sensational soft blend of country and rock that will have you out of your seats dancing and singing along.
